Product Introduction
The ball-column lubricity tester is used for evaluating the lubrication performance of aviation fuels (mainly jet fuels). The instrument consists of standard steel balls and standard test rings for friction. Under controlled test conditions, the size of the wear marks on the steel balls is used to assess the boundary lubrication performance of aviation fuels.
Product Feature
The instrument consists of an electronic control section, a mechanical testing section, and an electronic control section with a built-in microprocessor controller. It automatically controls the oil bath temperature, test cycle, air humidity, air flow and other conditions. The main control unit and key components of the equipment are all made of imported original parts. Place the test sample in the sample chamber and maintain the relative humidity of the air in the sample chamber at 10%. One test steel ball is fixed in the vertically installed chuck and aligned with a radially installed test steel ring. Additionally, a specified load is applied. The test steel ring is partially immersed in the sample in the sample chamber and rotates at a fixed speed. Thus, the friction between the test steel ball and the test steel ring is carried out under the condition of moistened sample. After the specified time of friction, the diameter of the wear marks on the surface of the test steel ball is observed under a microscope to draw a conclusion on the lubricity of aviation kerosene. After the test is completed, the test personnel can process the data to generate a test report and test curve. The report is output in Excel format, and the output content includes parameters such as test force, test time, friction force, test temperature, friction coefficient, frequency, etc.; The test curve includes curves such as load-time, friction torque-time, temperature-time, and frequency-time. The test control system of the testing machine adopts a board card integrated data acquisition and control. They provide functions such as analog input, analog output, digital input/output. These modules can be remotely controlled by commands.
The test control software is developed using Visual Basic language, which is directly object-oriented, powerful in function, and has strong scalability.
