Main function
It is used to evaluate the cleanliness performance of gasoline detergents, vehicle gasoline and its component oils on electronic port fuel injectors (PFI), meeting the latest requirements of GB/T 19230.3 "Test Methods for Evaluating the Effectiveness of Gasoline Detergents - Part 3: Test Methods for the Impact of Gasoline Detergents on the Clogging Tendency of Electronic Port Fuel Injectors (PFI)".
Method summary
The experiment utilized a simulated fuel system, where a heat source was used to heat and maintain the temperature of the fuel nozzles, simulating the temperature of the nozzles during driving tests. Before each test, a nozzle that met certain clogging requirements should be selected. Four selected nozzles, after cleaning, were installed on an aluminum heating base, and a stainless steel fuel reservoir was filled with 2L of test gasoline. The test consisted of two groups of 22 cycles each, totaling 44 cycles. After the test, the clogging rate of each nozzle was determined based on the change in flow rate.
