1. Product Overview
Model: LR-K008 vertical flammability testing machine is strictly developed in accordance with FAR 25.853 Appendix F Part I (FAA 14 CFR Part 25) and CCAR-25-R4 Appendix F. It is used to evaluate the flame resistance of aircraft cabin interior non-metallic materials, including plastics, fabrics, wall panels, carpets, leather and composite liners for airliners. It can complete vertical flame test (12s & 60s ignition), which is the mandatory pre-test for aircraft interior material airworthiness certification.

3. 1 The box body is painted. It is equipped with a transparent observation window and an exhaust device, which can automatically discharge smoke.
3.2 Dimensions inside the combustion chamber: Length 600mm × Width 330mm × Height 760mm;
3. 3 Electronic automatic ignition; The flame impact test can be automatically adjusted according to different experiments and can freely set any time.
3.4 Ignition time can be set arbitrarily from 0 to 99.99 seconds. The reignition time and the flame retardation time will be automatically recorded, and it will be displayed digitally; the time accuracy is 0.01 seconds. After the flame impact ends, the ignition will be automatically cut off. 3.5 The flame height can be adjusted.
3.6 The push-pull style holder fixation device can hold samples with a thickness of 25mm.
3.7 The burner is fixed on a sliding track, which is convenient for operation. When pushed to the combustion position, it automatically starts timing. The inner diameter of the nozzle is 10mm. 3.8 Control the gas flow rate and adjust the flame height;
3.9 Pressure gauge and pressure regulating valve, used to adjust the gas pressure to 17 ± 2 kPa
3.10 Instrument Composition: It consists of three parts: the combustion chamber, the control section, and the test device.
3. 11 Combustion Torch:
3.11.1 Use the Bunsen burner. The inner diameter of the flame outlet: 9.5 ± 0.1 mm, the outlet for steam: 0.9 ± 0.03 mm. The distance from the outlet to the air inlet is 100 ± 10 mm. There are a total of two. 3.12 Length gauge: Resolution 1.0 mm;

3.13.2 Temperature Instrument: It is a handheld thermometer with a measurement range of 0 to 1000°C and a resolution of 21°C.
3.13.3 Equipped with an electronic stopwatch: accurate to 0.1 seconds (to be used during temperature calibration) 3.14 Sample fixture: made of stainless steel, with a vertical test stand; 3.15 Gas: Use methane with a concentration of no less than 99%.
