This specialized instrument measures the evaporation value of plastic components in vehicles, designed for testing interior materials of automobiles and aircraft. The testing process involves heating the sample in a fogging cup, where vaporized gas condenses on a cooled glass plate or aluminum foil. After condensation, the fogging value or weight of condensed components is measured and compared with pre-test data to determine the sample's vaporization characteristics.
