ISO 22774 DIN 4843 Shoe Laces And Holes Wear Resistance Tester BS 5131 Shoe Eyelets Abrasion Tester
Purpose
The standard specifies the method for conducting the wear resistance test of this type of shoelace. It is applicable for measuring the wear resistance of various materials such as cotton, linen, and synthetic fibers used in woven shoelaces. The shoe lace and eye wear resistance testing machine is suitable for conducting wear resistance tests for all types of shoelaces and eyelets. Place a section of the shoelace through a shoe eye that is held by a fiber board. The shoelace bends 90 degrees through the shoe eye, with the fiber board and the two parts of the shoelace each forming 45 degrees. Then, pull the shoelace tight under a standard load and repeatedly pull the shoelace back and forth.
Instrument Principle
Two shoelaces are crossed over each other. One end of each lace is fixed to the same movable clamping device that can move in a straight line; the other end of one lace is fixed to the corresponding clamping device, and the other end is hung with a weight through a fixed pulley. Through the reciprocating movement of the movable clamping device, the two horizontally crossed and interlocked shoelaces rub against each other, achieving the purpose of testing the wear resistance.
Standard basis
DIN-4843, QB/T2226, SATRA TM154
BS 5131:3.6:1991, ISO 22774, SATRA TM93
Technical Requirements
1. The wear resistance tester is composed of a movable platform equipped with a clamping device and a corresponding fixed clamping device with pulleys. The reciprocating frequency is 60 ± 3 times per minute. The maximum distance between each pair of clamping devices is 345mm, and the minimum distance is 310mm (the reciprocating stroke of the movable platform is 35 ± 2mm). The distance between the two fixed points of each clamping device is 25mm, and the angle is 52.2°.
2. The mass of the heavy hammer is 250 ± 1 grams.
3. The wear resistance tester should have an automatic counter, and it should be able to preset the number of cycles for automatic stop and automatically shut down when the shoelace breaks.
