This specialized testing instrument is designed to evaluate and determine the color fastness to rubbing of dyed textile products. The machine performs tests using either dry or wet white cotton cloth attached to the rubbing head. After rubbing colored specimens under specific loads and for predetermined cycles, the color fastness grade is assessed by comparing results against a grey scale. The equipment also supports rubbing tests involving organic solvents.
