Product Introduction
This machine is suitable for measuring the wear of materials such as elastic materials, rubber, tires, conveyor belts, shoe soles, soft synthetic leather, etc. It features high efficiency, good reproducibility, and easy operation. The main principle is that under a certain load, on a certain level of gauze, the cylindrical sample is cross-cut and ground on the surface of the gauze for a certain distance. By measuring the mass wear of the sample, the volume wear can be calculated based on the density of the sample. To make the test comparable, finally, standard rubber must be used to represent the test results as relative volume wear as determined by the calibrated gauze or as a wear index relative to a certain standard rubber.

Product Features
The roller-type abrasion machine, also known as the DIN abrasion machine, is used to measure the wear resistance of rubber tires, rubber shoes, rubber belts, etc., to assess the quality of rubber products. During the test, the rubber compound is rubbed against the fabric on the roller under a certain load, and the wear amount of the sample within the specified stroke is measured. It complies with the requirements of GB9867, ISO4649 and DIN53516. This machine has the advantages of small sample size, time-saving, non-repetitive friction path and low noise.

Product details
Place the sample in a specific carrier and place it on a drum wrapped with standard sandpaper. The operator records the weight of the sample before and after the test to detect weight loss, and uses this value and through the standard specified formula to calculate the wear resistance performance. (Note: A specific balance for measuring density is usually required and needs to be purchased separately.)
