Scope of Application The LR-ER104 Combustion Toxicity Index (CIT) Tester is suitable for toxicity index testing of non-metallic materials used in halogen-free, low-smoke, and low-toxicity electric wires, cables, or optical cables. Quantitative analysis of SO2, NOx, and HCN must be performed if nitrogen and sulfur are present; if the absence of nitrogen and sulfur is confirmed, such quantitative analysis is not required.
