Product Introduction
This automatic film coater was meticulously developed by LONROY. It is designed for large-area coating preparation involving materials such as coatings, adhesives, hot-melt adhesives, conductive materials, and nanomaterials (including hydrogels, liquid metals, smart packaging materials, optoelectronic materials, photoresists, functional coatings, and microelectronics/semiconductor packaging). It also supports the fabrication of devices such as hydrogen fuel cell membrane electrode assemblies (MEAs), water electrolysis MEAs, lithium batteries, various active catalysts, heterojunction solar cells, thin-film solar cells, perovskite solar cells, organic solar cells, flexible OLED wearable devices, organic field-effect transistors (OFETs), conductive polymers, nanowires and nanotubes, 2D materials, OLEDs and PeLEDs, perovskite photovoltaics, lithium-ion battery electrolytes and electrodes, dye-sensitized solar cells, and electronic skin.
Manual coating often results in inconsistencies—particularly due to variations between different operators—because the quality of the film is significantly influenced by factors such as coating speed and the pressure applied to the applicator. These inconsistencies complicate the comparison of test results across samples. This coating tester automates the process, offering adjustable coating speeds and quantifiable, adjustable coating pressure, thereby fundamentally overcoming the drawbacks of manual coating. It produces wet films with excellent repeatability and precise thickness, providing stable coating samples for the measurement and research of various coating properties.
