Product Introduction

The Molten Metal Splash Tester for protective clothing is designed and manufactured in accordance with ISO 9185:2007.

During the test, a specific quantity of molten metal is splashed onto a sample positioned at a set angle, with a PVC film attached to the back of the sample in direct contact; the extent of damage is evaluated by observing changes in the PVC film after the splash.

Based on the results, the test is repeated using larger or smaller quantities of metal until the damage to the PVC film is minimized.

Technical Specifications

1. The equipment consists of a control unit, a test stand, and a crucible;

2. Crucible dimensions: height 97 mm, top diameter 80 mm, bottom diameter 56 mm, capacity 190 ml;

3.Thermocouple: temperature measurement range of 0–1800°C for monitoring molten metal temperature;

4.Test stand equipped with an automatic tilting mechanism; tilting speed and angle are controlled by a stepper motor;

10. Furnace utilizes advanced high-frequency induction heating technology;

11. Imported IGBT power controller;

12. Control system utilizes an automated Programmable Logic Controller (PLC);

13. Human-Machine Interface (HMI) features a 7-inch touchscreen that is simple and user-friendly.
