Application Scope
The fabric's ability to absorb and spread sweat directly affects the comfort of clothing, making this performance particularly important to test—especially for sportswear fabrics. Currently, AATCC 195 and GB/T 21655.2 have defined methods for testing sweat transfer characteristics in fabrics. The 290B fully complies with these standards and is designed to measure the overall dynamic behavior of liquids in knitted fabrics, primarily evaluating the following aspects:
1. Absorption rate—the time required for moisture absorption on both the front and back sides of the fabric
2. One-way transmission capability—the difference in liquid absorption and diffusion between the two sides
3. Diffusion/drying rate—the speed at which liquid spreads across both sides of the fabric

Instrument Features
1. The entire casing is made of metal, providing excellent anti-interference capability against external interference signals.
2. The movement of the test sensor is now controlled automatically instead of manually. The upper sensor is driven by a stepper motor and is equipped with an internal pressure detection device. It automatically stops when it reaches a fixed pressure and automatically returns after the test is completed.
3. The water pumping structure has been improved, ensuring uniform and stable water pumping, and the pump volume can be adjusted via software. The pump can be rotated in reverse to draw the salt water in the pipe back to the storage tank, preventing salt water crystallization and clogging of the pipeline.
4. Wireless WiFi connection to the computer ensures more stable and reliable data transmission.
