Application Scope:
The ultraviolet transmittance tester is a specialized instrument designed to measure the ultraviolet transmittance and UV protection performance of textiles. It can directly obtain key UV test parameters for textiles: UVA, UVB, and UPF.
UVA: Ultraviolet A radiation from sunlight, with wavelengths ranging from 315 nm to 400 nm;
UVB: Ultraviolet B radiation from sunlight, with wavelengths ranging from 280 nm to 315 nm;
UPF: Ultraviolet Protection Factor.
Relevant Standards:
GB/T 18830, AATCC 183, BS 7914, EN 13758, AS/NZS 4399, and other related standards.
Equipment Features:
1. Controlled by computer, the device performs zero-point reading, blank detection, and sample testing separately. Through data processing by the computer, it directly provides the Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF) value of textiles, simplifying the testing process and minimizing operational errors to the greatest extent.
2. Utilizing computer technology, monochromatic UV radiation is applied to the sample to collect total spectral transmittance, enabling calculation of the sample's UPF. Test results can be stored for long periods and printed as needed.
3. Equipped with imported deuterium lamps offering high luminous efficiency, long service life, and low power consumption.
4. Uses Japanese photodetectors with high sensitivity.
