Cement High Temperature and High Pressure Consistometer High-temperature High-pressure Thickening Instrument Consistency Tester
Overview
The 2012 model high-temperature and high-pressure thickening instrument is manufactured strictly in accordance with the requirements of API Specification 10. It is an instrument specifically designed for measuring the thickening time of cement slurry.
The thickening time of cement slurry is an important indicator that must be measured before performing a single or double well cementing. The corresponding technical requirements and operation procedures are detailed in the recommended test method RP-10B of the American Petroleum Institute (API) Specification 10.
Characteristics
It fully complies with the requirements of API Specification 10;
It features a digital intelligent temperature controller and digital temperature display;
The reactor body is made of special alloy;
The maximum pressure can reach 315 Mpa;
The maximum temperature can reach 275℃;
It uses a high-power heater;
It is sturdy, durable and easy to use;
All the main control and execution units are made of imported components;
It adopts a magnetic drive device, which is convenient for maintenance.
The reactor body can be cooled rapidly;
The pen-type recorder displays temperature and consistency values;
An optional computer-based 4000 data acquisition and control system can be equipped, which can perform real-time collection, storage and printing of test data through communication port 1.
Installation
(1) Unpacking
After unpacking, check the instruments and spare parts against the packing list to ensure that all components have been received and are undamaged. In case of any unexpected situation, please contact our company.
(2) Installing the instrument
1. Connecting air and water (Figure 1)
2. Connect to the power supply
Connect the instrument and the corresponding voltage power supply. The power supply must be reliably grounded. When opening the side cover for installation or maintenance, all power sources must be turned off to avoid injury.
2.1 Connect the [10] rubber hose to the air inlet on the back of the instrument and tighten it;
2.2 Connect the [10] rubber hose to the water inlet on the back of the instrument and tighten it;
2.3 Connect the [10] rubber hose to the drain outlet at the bottom of the instrument on the back and tighten it;
Operation of the Instrument
(1) Preparation
1. Carefully check if all the components are installed properly. All electrical switches and air inlet valves, gas source switches, and manual relief valves must be in the closed state.
2. Add oil to the oil tank. Or pour the oil into the reactor body to apply pressure inside the reactor, and then return the oil to the oil tank. The specific steps are as follows: (see Figure 6)
2.1 Pour approximately 2000ml of thickener instrument-specific oil into the reactor body.
2.2 Insert the [4] reactor cover into the reactor body, and do it gently with your hands. Do not insert it too tightly.
2.3 Seal the reactor cover using the tightening screws on the thermocouple: simply insert the thermocouple into the reactor and tighten it.
Note: There is a left-handed small sleeve at the upper end of the thermocouple. Before tightening, the small sleeve should be at the upper end of the thread.
2.4 Rotate counterclockwise to open the air to the reactor valve (at this time, compressed air enters the reactor).
2.5 Rotate counterclockwise to open the manual relief valve (at this time, pressure oil slowly flows into the oil tank).
Note: The oil in the oil tank should not be too full. It is required that the liquid level can be seen in the oil gauge. If too much oil is added, open the ball valve below the oil tank to discharge it.
2.6 Close the air to the reactor valve.
2.7 Remove the tightening screws on the thermocouple and remove the reactor cover. The oiling is completed.
