Main application

The wheelchair seat (backrest) pad fire resistance testing instrument is used to test the fire resistance performance of wheelchair seat (backrest) pad materials against cigarettes and matches.

Overall laboratory plan

1. The test frame should be placed in a fume hood (provided by the user), with the control box outside the fume hood. During the experiment, the operator operates the control box, and the test frame conducts a combustion test in a closed environment within the fume hood. The fume hood is connected to the ventilation duct of the laboratory for smoke exhaust.

The ventilation system of the fume hood controls the air flow rate in the test space to make the wind speed on the surface of the test frame between 0.02 and 0.2 m/s, and the air flow rate can be adjusted and controlled.

(Note: The igniter is a handheld operation igniter. The ignition time is within 20 seconds, and the observation window of the fume hood is opened to facilitate the ignition operation; after ignition, the observation window is closed, and the combustion is carried out in a closed environment. Observe the experimental state. The entire process should maintain the air flow rate within the required range.)

2. Constant temperature water bath box:

1) Heating tube heating.

2) The test box is equipped with heating devices, refrigeration devices and circulating water pumps to ensure uniform temperature of the constant temperature water bath at 20℃, with a control accuracy of ±2℃.

3) PID temperature control regulation. Temperature setting and measurement: digital display.

4) The water tank has a closed circulation device to mix evenly.

5) The box body has upper and lower water functions.

6) The box body is designed with full stainless steel, has corrosion resistance, has a long service life, the test area surface is added with insulation materials, and the insulation effect is good. Copper tubes are laid in the water bath box.

7) The box body is equipped with power overload and short circuit protection.

8) Power supply: 220V 50Hz.
