Product Introduction
The continuous fatigue tester is a fully programmable and file-readable testing machine that is powered by a cylinder and driven by a computer. It applies a load of up to 460 lbs (210 kg) in any direction using 100 PSI compressed air.
The standard version includes a 2" hole × 10" stroke lever-type cylinder, equipped with a central ear shaft, which enables a single-axis rotational movement from vertical (downward) to horizontal (forward) direction. When the lever is at the middle stroke, the rear end of the cylinder provides neutral force to counterbalance, and it is equipped with a 500-pound capacity fatigue-rated load sensor and adapter plate. Two adjustable manual fixtures allow for floating rotational movement (when connecting the test sample and bending it under load) or rigid upward movement (when applying and removing pressure to the test sample). This ear shaft installation also provides approximately 6" side-to-side movement. If the lateral movement must exceed a 6" stroke, the entire vertical support can be bolted to the base plate and moved.
Working principle
The control system on the PC side is installed on the vertical main unit and is separated from the test bench. The custom software is written in Visual Basic and can be easily operated by anyone familiar with Windows. Each cylinder can generate almost any type of load waveform, which is then arranged into the test sequence. This test sequence consists of different waveforms, each with its own cycle count. Then this sequence can be repeatedly run as a cycle counter. The combination of these two features makes this fatigue control system incredibly versatile.
The cylinder is controlled by a single servo pneumatic directional valve, which directly ascends to the ear shaft assembly and is connected to the main control console. The vertical equipment also comes with a remote control console for local control, deceleration, and fault diagnosis. In closed-loop operation scenarios, the cylinder load condition can be monitored, which is transmitted back to the servo controller via load sensors to maintain the best accuracy.
Product Features
1. By adopting the constant-speed elongation testing mechanism, a pressure sensor is used as the force-measuring element, and computer control is employed. The test force value and elongation length can be dynamically displayed. The peak values of each force, average force, maximum force, test date and test time can be printed out.
2. There are two testing functions: fixed elongation for measuring tensile force and fixed tensile force for measuring elongation.
3. It can apply a load up to 460 Ibs (210 kg), enabling high load, high frequency and low consumption, thereby shortening the test time and reducing the test cost.
4. It operates under workshop air pressure, with a voltage of 115 VAC, and other voltages are also applicable.
