The DM5110 Filling Level Detector is an online level monitoring instrument developed and manufactured by LONROY. It employs nuclear technology, utilizing the principle that the intensity of low-energy X-rays changes based on the material level after interacting with the substance being measured; this allows for the monitoring of liquid fill volumes. Its non-contact measurement method fundamentally solves the challenge of measuring liquid fill volumes on production lines—a task conventional weighing methods cannot handle. Consequently, it is widely used for automatic online control in liquid filling lines (for both bottles and cans) across industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and munitions. It plays a vital role in ensuring product quality and enhancing both economic and social benefits. The DM series of filling level detectors holds a significant share of the domestic market and is sold nationwide.
The DM5110 represents the company's new generation of filling level detectors. Its most significant difference from the previous generation is the absence of an isotopic radioactive source. In recent years, relevant government authorities have tightened regulations on radioactive sources; the entire lifecycle—from the application and purchase of source-containing instruments to testing, daily management, safety protocols, inspections, and the mandatory buy-back of the source upon decommissioning—entails considerable hassle and expense. Against this backdrop, and prioritizing user interests, the company mobilized its top technical talent to rapidly develop the DM5110, eliminating these burdens for customers. Another key feature is its superior detection precision compared to the previous generation, enabling accurate level monitoring even at high production line speeds and when inspecting liquid levels in bottled product lines.
