Dielectric Loss Test Machine Dielectric Constant Tester Vulcanized Rubber Dielectric Loss Tangent Test Equipment Q-value Tester
Overview
Dielectric loss and dielectric constant are critical physical properties of various ceramic materials—such as electrical porcelain, device ceramics, and capacitors—as well as composite materials. By measuring the dielectric loss tangent (tanδ) and the dielectric constant (ε), one can gain a deeper understanding of the various factors influencing these properties, thereby providing a basis for enhancing material performance. The instrument's fundamental principle is based on the high-frequency resonance method, offering versatile, multi-purpose, and multi-range impedance testing capabilities. Utilizing a single-chip microcomputer for control, the instrument incorporates advanced technologies such as automatic Q-value range switching and digital display. It features an improved tuning circuit design that minimizes residual inductance within the test loop, while retaining established techniques—such as automatic amplitude stabilization—found in traditional Q-meters. These enhancements make the new instrument more user-friendly and ensure greater accuracy in measurement results. Operating at relatively high test frequencies, the instrument is capable of measuring the Q-value of high-frequency inductors or resonant circuits; the inductance and distributed capacitance of inductors; the capacitance and loss tangent of capacitors; the high-frequency dielectric loss of electrical engineering materials; the effective parallel and series resistance of high-frequency circuits; and the characteristic impedance of transmission lines, among other parameters. This instrument is ideally suited for application research into the properties of novel inorganic non-metallic materials within scientific research institutions, academic institutions, manufacturing facilities, and similar organizations. The instrument complies with the following standards: GB/T 5594.4-2015 *Test Methods for Properties of Structural Ceramics for Electronic Components—Part 4: Test Methods for Dielectric Constant and Dielectric Loss Tangent* and GB/T 1693-2007 *Determination of Dielectric Constant and Dielectric Loss Tangent of Vulcanized Rubber*.
