EN ISO 22610 Moisture Resistance Microbial Penetration Testing Instrument
Scope of Application
This equipment is specifically designed to evaluate the performance of materials in resisting the penetration of bacteria through liquids. Specifically, it is used to measure the performance of materials in resisting the penetration of bacteria through liquids (the shielding performance of the mechanical friction chamber against the penetration of bacteria carried by the liquid); it is mainly used for medical surgical sheets, surgical gowns, and clean suits, etc.

Test principle
Place the test specimen on a agar petri dish, place a piece of the same-sized bacterial film on top of the specimen, then cover it with a thick high-density polyethylene film approximately 10 microns in thickness. Use a conical steel ring to secure the three layers of materials (with the test material at the bottom, the bacterial film in the middle, and the high-density polyethylene film on top) together. Place this ring assembly on the agar petri dish on the turntable. The test probe should act on the material in a way that allows it to move over the entire surface of the petri dish, subjecting the material to the combined effects of pressure and friction, thereby simulating the stress conditions and wet conditions under which barrier materials may experience microbial penetration during practical applications. After the microorganisms on the bacterial film penetrate the test material, they will migrate to the surface of the agar medium. By culturing the agar petri dish and counting the colonies, the penetration performance of the test material can be quantitatively evaluated.
Product Features
1. The turntable rotates quietly and steadily, and the rotation time of the turntable is automatically controlled by a timer.
2. The test is conducted by the guidance of the rotating outer wheel, and it can perform lateral reciprocating movements from the center to the periphery of the rotating agar petri dish.
3. The test involves applying adjustable forces to the material.
4. All the test components are made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
