Essential for predicting fire hazards and evaluating flame retardant treatments, it can detect mass loss rate, O2, CO, CO2, and heat release rate for all fire and flame retardant materials.

Applications
Used for testing smoke production, mass loss rate, gas concentrations (O2, CO, CO2), and heat release rate of fire and flame retardant materials under various conditions. System Components
The Cone Calorimeter consists of six main components:
  • Combustion Chamber: Dimensions 1680×700×2410mm with conical heater, igniter, control circuit, and windshield
  • Oxygen Analyzer: Siemens paramagnetic analyzer measures oxygen percentage changes during combustion
  • Load Platform: Precisely records sample mass changes during combustion
  • Smoke Measurement: He-Ne laser emitter and double electron beam measuring device determine specific extinction area
  • Ventilation System: Exhausts combustion products from chamber to atmosphere
  • Auxiliary Equipment: Includes microcomputer processor, server, heat flow meter, and gas removal devices
