This instrument is suitable for testing the wear of the shoe sole and measuring the wear resistance of the sole.
Product Details
The bio-mechanical wear testing instrument can simulate real scenarios and provide simulated accelerated wear. Usually, two methods are used to measure the wear resistance of shoe soles. One method requires several wearers to actually wear the shoes for several months to conduct a real wear test. The other is to use sandpaper in a testing room for a very rapid standard wear test. However, neither of these methods is ideal and can lead to contradictory results.
This new type of bio-mechanical wear testing instrument combines the authenticity of the actual wearing and wearing test with the efficiency of the testing room test, overcoming the shortcomings of the above two testing methods. By simulating real movement, speed and pressure on the real wear surface for simulated walking, the final data obtained is consistent with the results of bio-mechanical research. The rough-textured concrete surface is difficult to obtain but exists in daily life. During the testing process, alternate straight walking and circling were adopted, maintaining the front half of the sole in contact with the wear surface at all times. By using the alternating method of straight walking and circling on the wear test surface, similar results to the actual wearing wear test were finally obtained. The testing program time can be set, and the typical testing program lasts about 6 hours with 12,000 steps, and the results produced by this test are similar to the wear results produced by the actual wearing wear test over 30 to 80 days.
This tester can also be used to study the wear of the components of the shoe sole pattern, the integrity of inserts, and abnormal wear phenomena. It can also perform an adaptation test of the outer sole surface before conducting the anti-slip test under wear conditions.
It was developed precisely to meet the growing demand for conducting accelerated wear tests: it consists of two distinct yet independent actions. The processor-controlled servo motor drives the movement and rotation of the leg structure resembling shoes, as well as the floor structure synchronized with the movement of the leg structure. The force applied by the shoes on the floor sample surface follows a unique force curve graph, and the force curve can be adjusted by adding or reducing weights. The machine speed can also be adjusted to simulate normal walking to sprinting movements.
This machine is equipped with a complete control system. Test programs can be set and stored for future use.
