The BEVS 1132U Intelligent Cone-Plate Viscometer is designed for testing micro-samples and temperature-sensitive materials. It provides stable temperature control and shear rate management, automatically measuring viscosity and outputting viscosity curves. A small sample is placed on a temperature-controlled plate. A drive motor rotates a conical rotor within the sample at a constant speed. The sample generates resistance against the rotor; the higher the viscosity, the greater the resistance. A torque sensor within the instrument measures this resistance and converts it into a viscosity value for display.
