The BEVS 1132U Intelligent Cone-Plate Viscometer is designed for testing micro-samples and temperature-sensitive materials. It provides stable temperature control and shear rate management, automatically measuring viscosity and outputting viscosity curves. This instrument is ideal for studying the effects of temperature and shear rate on fluid rheological properties, making it widely applicable in industrial quality control, process simulation, and preliminary screening of non-Newtonian fluid behavior.
A small sample is placed on a temperature-controlled plate. A drive motor rotates a conical rotor within the sample at a constant speed. The sample generates resistance against the rotor; the higher the viscosity, the greater the resistance. A torque sensor within the instrument measures this resistance and converts it into a viscosity value for display.
