Product Introduction

This product is a new generation cement hydration heat testing instrument upgraded and improved based on GB/T12959-2008 and the usage experience and suggestions provided by many customers. The equipment features automatic temperature monitoring and reading, automatic calculation of experimental results, and automatic water bath temperature control. It also includes an environmentally friendly protective cover and ventilation device. The integrated design is compact, easy to operate, and energy-saving. It is suitable for determining the hydration heat of medium-heat Portland cement, low-heat slag Portland cement, ordinary Portland cement, slag Portland cement, pozzolanic Portland cement, fly ash Portland cement, and other types of cement at any hydration age.

Instrument Features

The cement hydration heat testing instrument is a new type of cement hydration heat testing instrument designed according to the relevant technical parameters and requirements provided by the China Building Materials Academy and the National Cement Quality Inspection and Supervision Center. The determination of heat of hydration is based on Hess's Law in thermochemistry, which states that the thermal effect of a chemical reaction depends only on the initial and final states of the system and is independent of the reaction pathway. It involves dissolving unhydrated cement and cement hydrated for a certain age separately in a standard acid of a specific concentration under constant ambient temperature conditions. The difference in heat of solution is then measured, which represents the heat of hydration released by the cement within the specified age.
