Product Introduction

 

The scrub resistance of a coated surface (coating) needs to be assessed using brushes, sponges, or other methods. Therefore, a precision instrument is needed to generate repeatable, controlled conditions to simulate the daily abrasion patterns faced by the coating.

 

BGD's scrub resistance tester effectively assesses the scrubbability of coatings and properties affecting their abrasion resistance, and can also evaluate detergent performance using reproducible testing methods.

 

The BGD 526 is a newly designed, fully touchscreen-operated scrub resistance tester that is compatible with various domestic and international testing standards. These instruments are robust, reliable, and highly functional, capable of testing the abrasion resistance, wash resistance, brush resistance, and impedance properties of a wide range of materials, including pigments, paints, inks, coatings, leather, wood, plastics, printed materials, fabrics, etc.
