Product Application
Lithium-ion Battery Separator Weak Point Tester – This instrument is primarily used to automatically increase voltage under a specified DC voltage, measuring the number of breakdown points per square meter for insulating materials such as polyurethane film, plastic film, and polypropylene film used in electrical applications.
This instrument is microcomputer-controlled, allowing the film winding speed to be set. It increases voltage at a preset rate and records the current voltage and current values in real time once the target voltage is reached. It can also record the breakdown point in real time. After the test, it automatically resets to zero, counts the number of weak spots and weak wires, and calculates the number of weak spots per square meter automatically.
This instrument features a high degree of automation, simple operation, convenient film roll installation, and a floor-standing design that ensures ease of use.
Structural Composition
1. Voltage boosting component: Composed of a voltage regulator and a high-voltage transformer, forming the 0 to 10 kV voltage boosting section.
2. Moving parts: Gradually increase the voltage at a constant rate to the preset value using a voltage regulation device.
3. Detection component: A measurement circuit composed of integrated circuits that continuously detects measurement data and transmits it to the computer in real time.
4. Computer software: Transmits measurement and control signals collected by the detection equipment to the computer via an intelligent circuit. The computer controls the operation of the equipment and processes test results based on the collected information.
5. Rewinding and unwinding: Secure the film roll and rotate it at a set speed
Device Working Principle:
The test instrument applies a DC voltage ranging from 0 to 10 kV, with a fluctuation of ±1%. After breakdown at the weak spot of the sample, the instrument automatically restores the voltage to its original set value within approximately 0.1 seconds. The copper roller serves as the lower electrode, and conductive rubber acts as the upper electrode. The film moves at a speed of 2 to 5 meters per minute; when a weak point breaks down, the breakdown location is automatically counted and accumulated. The movement of the film is automatically counted in square units.
