Instrument Overview

Specimens prepared via the glass fusion method eliminate effects related to particle size, mineralogy, and segregation, while also minimizing inter-element absorption and enhancement effects. This significantly improves analytical precision and accuracy, making it the optimal sample preparation method for X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analysis. Fusion is also an excellent sample preparation technique for refractory samples analyzed by ICP, AA, or wet chemical methods.
