Purpose and Scope of Application
This instrument is designed and manufactured according to the requirements of the People's Republic of China industry standard JTG E20-2011 "Test Procedures for Asphalt and Asphalt Mixtures in Highway Engineering" T0620-2000 "Dynamic Viscosity Test of Asphalt (Vacuum Capillary Method)" and the People's Republic of China petrochemical industry standard SH/T0557-1998 "Petroleum Asphalt Viscosity Determination Method (Vacuum Capillary Method)".
This instrument is suitable for determining the dynamic viscosity of viscous petroleum asphalt using a vacuum capillary viscometer. Unless otherwise specified, the test temperature is 60℃ and the vacuum degree is 300mmHg.
This instrument is also suitable for determining the viscosity of other substances in the range of 0.0036-20.00 Pa·s using the vacuum capillary method, at a test temperature of 60℃ and a vacuum degree of 300mmHg (40Kpa).
