Function Overview

The melt flow rate tester (melt index) refers to the mass or volume of the plastic passing through a standard die per 10 minutes under certain temperature and load conditions. It is expressed by MFR (MI) or MVR values and can distinguish the visco-flow characteristics of thermoplastic plastics in the molten state. It is applicable to engineering plastics such as polycarbonate, nylon, fluoroplastics, and polysulfone with higher melting temperatures, as well as plastics with lower melting temperatures such as polyethylene, polystyrene, polypropylene, ABS resin, and polyoxymethylene resin. It is widely used in industries such as plastic raw materials, plastic production, plastic products, petrochemicals, and related universities, research institutions, and quality inspection departments.

Product Features

1. The main unit is assembled from sheet metal and the control system and heating furnace body are separated. This design better protects the control system from high temperatures and ensures the lifespan of components. It is easy to disassemble and assemble, and is spray-painted. It is neat and beautiful.

2. The barrel and piston rod are made of alloy materials with high temperature resistance and low expansion coefficient. Through surface heat treatment, they do not deform at high temperatures and have high hardness. They are not prone to wear during long-term use and ensure the accuracy of data.

3. A rotary encoder specially customized by Chengde Precision is used as the displacement measurement device. The lever principle is used to ensure balance front and back without additional spring devices, thus effectively preventing measurement errors when measuring displacement.

4. The micro motor controls the cutting device. The cutting time can be set, and manual cutting is also possible. The operation is simple, and the cutting knife is made of high-strength spring steel to ensure that the sample is not deformed or damaged during long-term operation of the equipment.

5. The 7-inch touch screen display provides rich information, is simple and convenient, and can quickly and accurately grasp the current test status.

6. The CPU uses the STM32 chip, which performs 32-bit operations. The computing speed has been greatly improved (the chip is designed by the British ARM company). Users can choose whether to save or print the current test data according to their own needs.

7. This equipment can save 5 sets of test data, without limiting the test type, and the data is permanently saved and not lost even in the event of power failure.

8. The control board reserves multiple signal interfaces to facilitate user upgrades.

9. The touch screen displays the current status of the equipment, and different prompt sounds will be given during the test to inform the user of the current status.

10. Humanized design: Backlight adjustment and touch sound settings in the system settings can meet the user's operating habits.

11. User assistance: Common fault phenomena and solutions are listed for users.

12. Chinese and English can be switched at any time.
