Differential Pressure Test Principle
The pre-treated sample is placed between the high-pressure chamber and the low-pressure chamber, and sealed tightly. First, the low-pressure chamber is evacuated, and then the entire system is evacuated. After a certain period of evacuation and reaching the specified vacuum level, the low-pressure chamber is closed, and a certain pressure of test gas is introduced into the high-pressure chamber, maintaining a constant pressure difference across the sample. Under the action of the pressure difference, the gas permeates from the high-pressure chamber to the low-pressure chamber. The system monitors the pressure change in the low-pressure chamber to calculate the gas permeation rate, gas permeability coefficient, solubility coefficient, and diffusion coefficient of the sample.
