Siphon Sand Cleaner Microcomputer-Controlled Automatic Siphon Sand Washer Laboratory Raw or Reclaimed Sand Clay Content Tester
Production
This instrument is designed to determine the percentage of clay content in raw or reclaimed sand. It is an automated device—controlled by a microcomputer—that simulates the manual clay removal procedure. Utilizing industrial-grade microprocessor chips and optocoupler circuitry, the instrument effectively mitigates operational interference caused by both external environmental factors and internal electrical noise. It features a compact and simple structural design, offers convenient operation, and yields stable test results.
With a single-button start function, the instrument automatically fills with water and drains via a siphon mechanism. It also incorporates reset and manual drainage capabilities, as well as a programmed motor-driven vortex stirring function for automated sand washing. The system includes an alarm function and is programmed to maintain normal stirring operations even under low water pressure conditions, thereby significantly accelerating the efficiency of the sand washing process. The electrical control box and the water circuit control box feature independent structural designs, resulting in a low product failure rate and convenient maintenance operations.
Furthermore, the motor's stirring blade features a crescent-shaped design, which ensures effective stirring without damaging the particle size of the sand sample.
Structural Principle
Based on the manual siphoning procedure, the process follows this sequence: Add water → Settle for 10 min → Siphon → Add water and settle again for 10 min → Siphon, then add water and settle for 5 min → Siphon; this 5-minute settling cycle is repeated until the water above the sand sample in the washing cup runs clear (an automatic stirring step is incorporated prior to the initial water addition and after each rinsing cycle). The device consists of a sand washing cup, the main instrument body, an automatic control circuit, a support tray, and other components.
Equipment Operating Conditions
1. Water Supply: Tap water with an inlet pressure >0.05 MPa; Power Supply: 220 V ± 10%, 50 Hz, ≤50 W.
2. Ambient Temperature: 0 – 40°C.
3. Ambient Humidity: ≤85% RH. 4. Safety Grounding
