Product Introduction

The petroleum and synthetic liquid anti-emulsification tester is developed based on GB/T 7305-2003 "Method for Measuring Water Separability of Petroleum and Synthetic Liquids" and GB/T 7605-2008 "Method for Measuring Demulsification Degree of Running Steam Turbine Oil", as well as ASTM D1401. The testing principle of the instrument is to add 40 ml of sample and 40 ml of distilled water to a graduated cylinder at a constant temperature, stir for 5 minutes to form an emulsion, and then measure the time required for the emulsion to separate (i.e., when the volume of the emulsion layer is no more than 3 ml). After 30 minutes of standing, if the emulsion has not completely separated or the emulsion layer has not reduced to 3 ml or less, record the volumes of the oil layer, water layer and emulsion layer at this time. It is applicable for measuring the ability of petroleum products to separate from water and is widely used in power, petroleum, chemical, commodity inspection, universities and research departments.
