Product Description
To meet the concrete sampling and powder collection requirements of the "Durability Design Standard for Water Transport Engineering Structures" (JTS153-2015), a concrete powder layer grinding machine was designed and manufactured. According to the requirements of "H.4 Immersion Depth Test - Thermal Decomposition Gas Chromatography" in the standard, a concrete specimen is clamped in a four-jaw chuck and the sides of the circular specimen are ground using flat and V-shaped grinding wheels. A powder is obtained within 5mm of the core sample edge, and the grinding range decreases with increasing depth. This also meets the powder collection requirements of "H.5 Chloride Absorption Reduction Effect Test" in the standard.
The "Testing Procedures for Concrete for Water Transport Engineering" (JTJ270-98) requires the measurement of water-soluble chloride ion or total chloride ion content using powder samples. The acid-soluble chloride ion content in concrete powder samples is determined using the NT BUILD 208 and AAHSTO T260.
There are several established methods for testing chloride ion content, including chloride ion selective electrochemical analysis, ion chromatography, spectrophotometry, fluorescence analysis, and titration. All of these methods require concrete powder.
The concrete powder layer grinding and collection device utilizes a sealed unit design and X/Y motion technology. For high-performance concrete, short-term exposed concrete, and concrete treated with coatings, analysis requires continuous powder samples with close spacing due to the low chloride ion content and limited penetration depth.
