1.Description
Measure the thickness of non-magnetic coatings on ferromagnetic (Fe) metal substrates such as steel and iron, including paint layers, various anti-corrosion coatings, coatings, powder coatings, plastics, rubber, synthetic materials, phosphating layers, chromium, zinc, lead, aluminum, tin, cadmium, etc. The 4500-type thickness gauge can also measure the thickness of all non-conductive layers on non-ferromagnetic (NFe) substrates such as copper, aluminum, stainless steel, and other non-ferromagnetic (NFe) substrates, such as paint layers, various anti-corrosion coatings, coatings, powder coatings, plastics, rubber, synthetic materials, oxide layers, etc.
Feature:
* Zero-point stability, requiring only zero adjustment. All coating thickness gauges require zero calibration before measurement, which can be performed on the zero calibration plate provided with the instrument or on an uncoated workpiece. The stability of the instrument's zero position is a prerequisite for accurate measurement. After zero calibration, the QuaNix coating thickness gauge can maintain the zero position without drift for an extended period, ensuring accurate measurement.
* No calibration required. Most coating thickness gauges require calibration using standard plates in addition to zero calibration. To measure a specific range of thicknesses, calibration must be performed using standard plates within that range.
*This primarily fails to meet linear accuracy across the entire range. Not only is the process cumbersome, but it can also lead to system errors due to the failure of standard plates with rough surfaces.
* Integrated design
* Automatic temperature compensation: The measurement of coating thickness is highly influenced by temperature. Measuring the same workpiece at different temperatures can result in significant errors. The QuaNix thickness gauge features advanced temperature compensation technology to ensure measurement accuracy at different temperatures.
* Ruby Probe: The wear resistance of the probe contact point directly affects measurement accuracy. Conventional metal contact probes can introduce significant errors once their surfaces wear down. The QuaNix thickness gauge uses a ruby probe, significantly extending its service life.
* Automatic Power On/Off
* LCD Digital Display.
