Product Description
The LR-E106 end quench testing machine, based on our company's first-generation product, meets the requirements of the GB/T225-2006 standard (End Quench Test Method for Steel Hardenability). It is suitable for end quench testing of various steel types, including high-quality carbon structural steel, alloy structural steel, spring steel, some tool steels, bearing steel, and low-hardenability structural steel.
Product Use
The LR-E106 end quench testing machine is designed and manufactured according to the specific test requirements of the national standard GB/T225—2006 for end quench testing, and can perform standard material end quench tests.
Main Features
1. The testing machine consists of a frame, high and low-level water tanks, an automatic circulating water system with a water pump, a spray time setting system, an automatic quick-opening device for the nozzle baffle, and a water temperature control system.
2. The entire testing machine (water tank, nozzle bracket, frame, panel, shelf) is welded with J304 stainless steel, and components in long-term contact with water, such as the water tank and spray pipe, are made of 1Cr18Ni9Ti stainless steel.
3. The spray start function is controlled by both a high-sensitivity photoelectric sensor automatic control and manual control.
4. Time control uses a high-precision digital display time relay with an audible alarm function. The water baffle automatically closes after the set time. The spray time for each nozzle can be set separately, and the spray height can also be adjusted separately to maintain a stable water column.
5. Water temperature control uses compressor refrigeration and heating rods. The water temperature control is highly accurate, and the water tank is equipped with a temperature control instrument.
6. All installed measuring instruments are easily removable for calibration.
7. The distance between the spray nozzle and the sample can be freely adjusted to meet different test standards.
8. The alignment between the inner hole of the sample holder and the nozzle is stable and easy to adjust (equipped with a dedicated center height adjuster).
9. Equipped with a drain pipe for easy replacement of quenching water.
Method for Determining Hardenability
During the test, the standard specimen is first heated to the austenitizing temperature and held for 30-40 minutes. Then, it is rapidly quenched using an end-quench testing machine. After quenching, the specimen is removed, and hardness measurements are taken according to national standards to obtain the end-quench curve.
