Product Introduction

The Seam Fatigue Tester is a 2-position desktop machine designed to evaluate tear resistance and elongation of seam pinholes in textile or leather seat materials. Each testing position features corresponding fixtures for sample fixation and a height gauge for precise 140mm spacing between fixture clamps.

Testing Process

Samples are secured in the clamping device with adjusted positions to meet standard spacing requirements. After setting the test cycles, the reducer drives the middle clamping device in reciprocating motion while left/right clamping devices maintain a 3kg load. The proximity switch-connected counter records movement cycles, automatically stopping at the preset count. Seam area changes are measured to determine material fatigue resistance.

Scope of Application

This method evaluates fatigue resistance strength of seams on automotive seat surface materials (leather, synthetic leather, fabric). Testing stitched/bonded structures helps predict seat lifespan and identify improvement opportunities for enhanced durability.
