Description:

The DM2500MMEDXRF light and medium element spectrometer, also known as the DM2500 multi-monochromatic excitation energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence light and medium element (B-Zn) spectrometer, is a novel XRF spectrometer developed by our company based on decades of research experience in X-ray fluorescence spectrometry. It is an innovative XRF spectrometer that integrates the company's original DM series X-ray fluorescence sulfur, calcium, iron analysis instruments, X-ray fluorescence multi-element analysis instruments, X-ray fluorescence spectrometers, etc. It adopts the multi-monochromatic excitation energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (MMEDXRF) (Multiple Monochromatic Excitation Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence) analysis technology. The main components, such as the monochromatic crystals, use the logarithmic spiral rotating point-to-point focusing germanium monochromatic crystals developed by our company, and the X-ray tubes use the 50W micro-focus large radiation angle thin beryllium window X-ray tubes produced by KeyWay Company, and their high voltage, current, and target materials are optimally combined. The X-ray detectors use the German Ketek company's SDD semiconductor X-ray detectors with high count rate, high energy resolution, and high transmittance at room temperature. Moreover, it adopts the unique technology of the light element-specific optical system and the combination of multiple single-monochromatic excitation systems using our company's independently intellectual property rights. This greatly improves the sensitivity and peak-to-background ratio of the instrument. It also adopts an X-ray downward irradiation system and a sample rotation device, which is particularly suitable for powder pellet samples, and can be selected between vacuum systems or self-inflation systems according to the application. Thus, this spectrometer has reached the international leading level. In comparative tests with large wavelength dispersion spectrometers, most of its performance indicators are close to or reach the performance indicators of large wavelength dispersion spectrometers, and some even exceed them. Its performance indicators are better than those of imported similar products, while the price is only half of that of imported similar products, with an unparalleled price-performance ratio. In addition, the convenience of domestic enterprises' after-sales service is incomparable to that of foreign enterprises. And the spectrometer's excellent shielding protection design ensures no radiation leakage, meeting radiation exemption requirements.

 

Applications

The standard model of the DM2500MEDXRF light and medium-element spectrometer is specially designed and manufactured for the cement industry, and can be used for the content measurement of cement raw materials, clinker, and other materials. It complies with the relevant requirements of the national standard GB/T 176—2017 "Chemical Analysis Methods for Cement" and the industry standards JC/T1085—2008 "X-ray Fluorescence Analyzer for Cement" and JB/T11145—2011 "X-ray Fluorescence Spectrometer".

The DM2500MEDXRF light-medium element spectrometer is not only used in the cement industry, but also can be applied to the content measurement of all materials in various industries. Although the standard model is specially designed and manufactured for the cement industry, as long as the measurement elements required by the user are within the range of B(5) to Zn(30), the standard model can generally be directly used for measurement in most cases. If your user has special requirements for the measurement of certain elements, our company can modify the monochromatic excitation system and/or software system according to the user's requirements to meet the user's requirements for the measurement elements.

 

Characteristics

Quick and simultaneous - The required measured elements are analyzed simultaneously at high speed, and the content results are usually available within a few tens of seconds.

High accuracy - Utilizing advanced MMEDXRF technology and LSDCC core technology, the energy of the monochromatic light and the method for generating the monochromatic light are selected based on the element to be measured. Sample spin - With the sample spin device, the unevenness of the sample caused by the presence of hard substances in the tablet sample and making it difficult to crush is eliminated.

Long-term stability - Utilizing variable gain digital multi-channel, featuring functions such as automatic PHA adjustment, drift correction, and deviation correction, it exhibits excellent long-term stability.

Environmental protection and energy conservation - Radiation protection meets exemption requirements. During analysis, there is no contact or damage to the samples, no pollution occurs, no chemical reagents are needed, and no combustion is required.

Advanced technology

Multi-color single-beam excitation energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence (MMEDXRF) analysis technique

One of the main reasons why traditional XRF, especially EDXRF, cannot achieve accurate measurement of ultra-light elements is that the continuous bremsstrahlung scattering in the emission spectrum of the X-ray tube leads to a high continuous scattering background in the X-ray fluorescence spectrum. Moreover, the lower the atomic number of the element, the lower its fluorescence yield. The relatively low fluorescence ray intensity will be drowned in the higher background.

Monochromatic Excitation Beam Energy Dispersive X-Ray Fluorescence (MEXAF) analysis technology involves using optical devices to monochromatize the emission spectrum from an X-ray tube, thereby significantly reducing the continuous scattering background of the fluorescence spectrum. At the same time, it minimally reduces or even possibly increases the intensity of the single-colored lines or narrow energy bands of the required excitation X-rays, thereby greatly enhancing the peak-background ratio of the X-ray fluorescence spectra of the measured elements and enabling accurate measurement of ultra-light elements. The schematic diagram is shown in Figure 1.
