Introduction
PCY-SP Glass Softening Point Tester (Automatic Hanging Filament Method)
This instrument is used to determine the softening temperature of glass fibers. It employs a grating displacement sensor to automatically track and detect the change in elongation of the glass fiber under different temperature conditions. The softening temperature is automatically analyzed by a computer that monitors the rate of change in elongation of the glass fiber at different temperatures. It conforms to the ASTM C-338 standard.
