Structure and Principle

Rotor-free vulcanizer is an intelligent instrument, which combines the mechanical and electrical principles.It consists of the following parts:

A. Mechanical part: consisting of housing, upper and lower mold, vibrator, force sensor and transmission;

B. Air compressor control system: air compressor is composed of three parts: air cylinder, solenoid valve and air compressor;

C. Electric control system: composed of temperature measurement and control system and door control device;

D. Test and control system: mainly consists of microprocessor, computer control system, data acquisition device, AC device, data processor, motor control, open and close mode control, report printer.The printer is an HP printer and the paper is A4 paper.

 Design principle

The mold cavity is composed of upper and lower molds. The rubber sample is placed in an almost airtight mold cavity and maintained at a certain temperature pressure. One of the mold cavities vibrates at a frequency of 1.7Hz, with an amplitude of ±0.5 or ±1.The vibration of the mold cavity causes the sample to produce shear strain, and at the same time, the sample generates a reaction force (torque) to the mold cavity in the opposite direction. The force value depends on the stiffness of the adhesive (shear modulus).

As vulcanization begins, the stiffness of the rubber sample increases, and the reaction force (moment) measured by the force measuring mechanism will gradually rise to the stable value or maximum value and be gradually displayed on the screen. At the same time, a corresponding curve curve of moment and time will be seen, which is usually called "vulcanization curve".The shape of the curve and the test temperature are related to the properties of the binder.After the test, the data and curves will be automatically stored in the database. ML: Minimum torque

MH: Maximum torque

TS1 (early curing time and coke burning time) : ML± 0.1nm, that is, the time corresponding to the increase of 0.1n ·m torque on the basis of ML, calculated in minutes.

TS2 (early curing time and coke burning time) : ML± 0.2nm, that is, the time corresponding to the increase of 0.2n ·m torque on the basis of ML, calculated in minutes.

T10 (initial curing time) : ML+ (MH-ML) ×10% : the time corresponding to the torque reaching this value is calculated in minutes.

T90 (the best curing time often used) : ML+ (MH-ML) ×90% : the time corresponding to the torque reaching this value, calculated in minutes.
