Description:

The DM6100 X-ray thickness gauge can be used for measuring the thickness of various plastic films, rubber, wood, cardboard, metal sheets, etc. in various industries. It is mainly used in the metal rolling industry to measure the thickness of products on the production line, such as steel strips, copper strips, aluminum strips, aluminum foils, etc. in a dynamic state. It can output the thickness signal to the AGC system to achieve closed-loop thickness adjustment. It has the advantages of non-contact with the measured object, continuous measurement, rapid measurement, and accurate measurement.

The DM6100 X-ray thickness gauge uses an X-ray tube as the X-ray source. Compared with the majority of X-ray thickness gauges currently available in China that use isotope radiation sources as X-ray sources, it has significant advantages. Firstly, it eliminates the complex approval procedures, high management costs, and especially the cost of repurchasing the radioactive source when the instrument is scrapped associated with the use of isotope radiation sources. Secondly, this thickness gauge adopts the unique source control technology developed by our company. Its X-ray source's energy and intensity can be continuously adjusted, ensuring that each thickness within the maximum measurement range achieves the best measurement accuracy. In contrast, isotope radiation sources usually have only one energy level and can only guarantee the best measurement accuracy for a certain thickness.

At present, the vast majority of X-ray thickness gauges produced in China use isotope radiation sources as X-ray sources. While X-ray thickness gauges using X-ray tubes as X-ray sources are mainly imported large-scale equipment, which are very expensive.
