Two flame calibration methods are recommended:

(1) inner flame 50 ~ 60mm, outer flame 170 ~ 190mm

(2) the 10g copper head was heated from 100℃ to 700℃ for 45±5S

Scope of use

The vertical combustion test instrument for single wire and cable is mainly used to evaluate the flammability of single wire and cable whose conductor diameter is greater than 0.8mm or cross-sectional area is not less than 0.5mm2.It is applicable to the research, production and quality control departments of lighting equipment, low-voltage appliances, household appliances, machine appliances, motors, power tools, electronic instruments, electrical instruments, electrical connectors and accessories, and other electrical and electronic products and components.This model adopts the product structure recommended by gb18380.12-2008 appendix B on air mixed structure, which fully meets the acceptance requirements of the quality inspection unit in details.

Product features

The vertical combustion test of a single wire and cable is to use a specified Bunsen burner and a specific gas source (propane) to regularly fire the test article in the vertical state according to a certain flame height and a certain flame Angle, and to evaluate the flammability and fire risk of the test article by the ignition, combustion duration and combustion length.
