Scope of Application
1. This product meets the standard GB/T 25278-2010 "Capillary and Slit Die Rheometers for Determining the Flow Properties of Plastics"; this standard is equivalent to ISO 11443-2021.
2. This instrument is suitable for determining the shear rate of plastics and polymer materials, and for determining the fluidity of melts under shear stress at a certain temperature, including the apparent viscosity of thermoplastics and thermosetting materials.
3. This rheometer is a computer-controlled intelligent capillary rheometer, which can operate under constant pressure, constant speed, constant temperature, different heating rates, different temperatures, and different shear rates. The software automatically measures the pressure, temperature, speed, and other test parameters of different plastics under different die conditions. The software automatically plots curves and saves and prints the data.
4. Different specifications (low temperature type, high temperature type, different pressure, different piston diameter, etc.) can be customized according to user requirements. This model is a low-pressure, single-pressure head, single-column structure.
Features
1. High data acquisition frequency (greater than 100 PPS), which can more accurately record the transformation points of the material in different states, without missing key material state transformation points; accurately calculate the apparent viscosity at different shear rates;
2. Multiple data curves can be superimposed; multiple curve forms can be displayed on the coordinate axes.
3. The load application device of this instrument is reasonably designed, using high-precision pressure and load sensors for data acquisition, with dual closed-loop control of software and hardware, achieving stepless adjustment of speed and loading force; it can use both manual and automatic loading control, which is convenient, fast, and accurate.
4. Regarding the shear viscosity and shear rate curve coordinate axes: During the test, the coordinate axes are normal coordinate axes. After the test is completed, if you want to view the log coordinate axes image, you can directly adjust and display the log coordinate axes with the mouse. This allows you to observe the image in two ways, and the lowest point of the coordinate axes is set with the mouse after the test is completed.
5. The whole machine adopts a single-column swing-head desktop structure, which is more aesthetically pleasing, more stable, easier to clean, and easier to transport and install. 6. Expandability: This instrument can be expanded into a wire drawing instrument without replacing the main unit.
System Composition
The system structure adopts a single-column swing-head desktop design, ensuring structural strength and ease of cleaning. The transmission structure uses a precision ball screw from a Taiwanese brand to transmit kinetic energy, and the speed control system uses an AC servo system to achieve precise control of displacement and pressure. The heating unit uses a spiral heating wire for overall heating, ensuring uniform temperature throughout the barrel. The high-tech measurement and control system and software interface are simple and intuitive, allowing users to set test modes and relevant operating parameters, and display relevant curves and calculation results in real time.
Test Items
1. Constant-speed shear test: Measures the shear stress vs. shear rate curve and the shear viscosity vs. shear rate curve.
2. Constant-pressure shear test: Measures the shear viscosity vs. shear rate curve.
3. Stepwise shear rate test: Different shear rates can be set according to user requirements. It can measure the shear stress vs. shear rate curve and the shear viscosity vs. shear rate curve, and determine the melt fracture situation and the minimum flow pressure and shear rate of the melt based on the changes in the curve during the experiment.
a) Flow/non-flow test: Measures the viscosity-temperature relationship and accurately determines the minimum flow temperature.
b) Melt fracture and flow instability: Studies flow instability phenomena, including melt fracture and melt rupture.
