Introduction
The sponge foam indentation hardness tester is used to measure the indentation hardness of porous elastic materials. It can conduct the standard tests stipulated by the national regulations on polyurethane sponge foam samples, accurately measuring the indentation hardness of sponge, foam and other materials. It can also be used to measure the specified indentation hardness of the produced seat foams (such as backrest and seat cushion foams, etc.), accurately measuring the indentation hardness of each foam component of the seat.
Principle of the Experiment
The compression stress test of sponge foam involves placing the sample between the upper and lower pressing plates. The upper pressing plate compresses the sample of a certain size downward at a specified speed until it reaches the curvature requirement specified by Method A (Method B, Method C) of the national standard. The load sensor on the upper plate will sense the pressure and feed it back to the controller for processing and display, thereby measuring the indentation hardness of the sponge, foam and other materials.
