Product Introduction
DSC detects the change in temperature difference (heat flow) between a sample and a reference over time or temperature. The sample and reference are in a homogeneous temperature zone. When there is no thermal change in the sample, the temperatures at both the sample and reference ends change according to a set temperature. When the sample undergoes a change, such as melting, the heat supplied to the sample is used to maintain the melting process, while the reference end temperature continues to rise with the furnace body, resulting in a higher reference end temperature than the sample end temperature, thus creating a temperature difference. This temperature difference change is recorded as a curve, forming the raw DSC data.
