1. Summary
The Contact Angle is the tangent to the gas-liquid interface at the point where the gas, liquid and solid meet. This tangent has an angle between the liquid and the solid-liquid boundary. Contact angle measurement is now the main method of surface performance inspection.
SDC-80 basic contact angle measuring instrument using optical imaging principle, through the image profile analysis to measure the sample surface contact angle, wetness, surface energy and other properties. 2. Application
Contact Angle Measuring Instrument is widely used in various industries. In the fields of mobile phone manufacturing, glass manufacturing, surface treatment, material research, chemical industry, semiconductor manufacturing, coating and ink, electronic circuit, textile and fiber, medical and biological, contact angle measurement has become an important instrument for evaluating surface properties.
1. Wetting behaviors of liquid on solid surface, such as spreading, infiltration and absorption, etc., static contact Angle was measured by droplet method;
2. Measurement of forward Angle, backward Angle, contact Angle lag, rolling Angle and dynamic contact Angle of materials on solid surface;
3. Continuous real-time research and process recording of absorption materials, and curve analysis of contact Angle changes with time;

3. Principle
As shown in the figure above, the contact Angle measuring instrument is mainly composed of five parts: light source, injection unit, sample table, acquisition system and analysis software. The equipment adopts the principle of optical imaging.
Light source adopts dense LED cold light design, uniform light emitting, image cleaning, long life;
The injection unit adopts micro manual knob type liquid injection, with stable drip and high precision;
The sample table adopts 3d manual fine adjustment platform, flexible operation, accurate positioning, the sample table can be customized according to the actual sample size;
The acquisition system adopts the black and white imported CCD camera, which is stable to shoot, with clear and reliable images. The lens is equipped with the German industrial-grade imported configuration, with the magnification adjustable from 0.7 to 4.5 times, and the imaging is free from deformation.
The analysis software has powerful functions, has one-button automatic fitting ability, has the most advanced fitting method in the world, and meets the precise fitting of various droplet forms
